About Us

Clothing, foot wear, and accessories are our concern. We blog about current trends, past trends and trends that should never be revisited. Aside from fashion and fancy dress today, we dig a little deeper into cross-cultural clothing and its place in society.

The fashion industry is a product of the modern age. Prior to the mid-19th century, most clothing was custom made. It was handmade for individuals, by dressmakers and tailors. Today, with the advent of technology and capitalism, clothing is, on the whole, a mass production. Today it is an international and highly globalized industry, with clothing often designed in one country, manufactured in another, and sold world-wide.

The fashion industry consists of four levels; production of raw materials, design, sales and advertising. These levels consist of many separate but interdependent sectors, all of which are devoted to the goal of satisfying consumer demand. We talk about all these things and more.
